Image Rotator

Fix sideways phone photos or tilt a scan — 90°, 180° and flip operations are pixel-exact (no re-sampling, no quality loss), while custom angles re-sample into a computed bounding box with the background of your choice. Batch included: rotate a whole folder and grab one zip. Output is always PNG so repeated edits stay lossless. One honest note: arbitrary angles interpolate by nature — that's true of every rotator, desktop or online — the 90° steps are the only truly lossless rotations and we keep them exact.

FAQ

Which rotation is lossless?

The 90° steps and the flips — they remap whole rows and columns, so every original pixel value survives. Custom angles must interpolate between pixels; that softening is inherent to rotation, not a flaw of this tool.

Why is my photo still sideways after rotating?

Phone photos carry an EXIF orientation tag and some viewers ignore it. Here the output pixels are physically rotated and saved as PNG, which has no orientation tag — what you see is what every viewer gets.

What background should I pick for angled rotation?

White for documents, a color sampled near your subject for product shots, or any solid color that blends — the bounding box corners are filled with it.
